As the Manager of SMB Sales, you'll lead a team of SMB Account Executives, responsible for generating new B2B ARR for the company. This team will be responsible for managing the inbound funnel, as well as prospecting into our ICP to generate new business.
What we're looking for:
- 3 years experience in leading new business sales teams or relevant professional experience with B2B prospecting, cold calling, emailing, networking, and researching.
- You have experience recruiting, hiring, and developing talented and driven individual contributors
- You have a passion for coaching, motivating, and mentoring others.
- You have a track record of success in sales leadership within a SaaS or B2B organization.
- You care deeply about the success of your reps and you're great at celebrating wins and progress.
- You're an analytical thinker and know how to turn metrics into decisions, and can present data in an impactful way.
- You can identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity.
- You are a self-starter and have experience in a fast-growth environment.
- It's a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager.
- You can consistently monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results
- You have excellent communication skills with both customers and team mates
- You have a strong drive for results and aim for exceptional performance for yourself and your team.
What you can expect:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the team and proactively remove obstacles and solve any problems that can prevent the team from reaching their goals.
- Own people management tasks for direct reports including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, career development and performance management. Identify training and skill development opportunities for direct reports.
- Provide consistent coaching through 1-1s, team enablement sessions, pipeline reviews ,using the right tools to uplevel our team.
- Ensure forecasting is accurate and implement measures to accurately report on future pipeline.
- Implement strategic processes and expand on our outbound sales program in order to help the team achieve their revenue targets.
- Provide support and guidance to Account Executives by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $97,000 USD and $131,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $96,000 CAD and $130,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
