The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager (Bilingual, English/Korean) will be responsible for developing and implementing Quality Assurance process, performing field claim analysis, conducting regular quality audits. The QA Manager has responsibilities for the administration of the overall plant quality system that supports reliable process operation, including leadership and guidance to the Quality Assurance Team Members. This role will work for MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant.

- Maintains the company's QMS and ensure the company remains compliant with IATF 16949 and required quality standards customer required
- Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning factors such as production capabilities, quality issue trends, customer complaints and 4M changes
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize quality costs.
- Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing customer's requirements
- Generate regular issue reports of warranty claim analysis to Mobis Senior Management
- Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals
- Directly engage with customer and suppliers and HQ regarding warranty related items
- Maintain database and all documents relating to Quality Inspection Reports (QIR), and find root causes and countermeasures for quality defects
- Cooperate with Headquarters in Korea on monthly Quality Status
- Cooperate with Quality Control to analyze the assembly line processes and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with OEM on the returned part root cause analysis and other QA events
- Execute on-site supplier audits for quality improvement to assure validity and reliability of manufacturing and quality processes of the Suppliers
- Perform and support Quality Assurance and problem containment activities in accordance with quality management systems
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Comply with and promote safety in the workplace, to include attending safety meetings as well as conduct safety meetings when necessary
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Assigns work and coordinates activities of all subordinate employees

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in required with strong preference in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering area
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the automotive industry.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must be fluent in Korean and English, written and spoken languages
- Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment internal and external dealing suppliers and customers
- Knowledgeable in training techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / Mobis
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Domestic / International travel required
