Your Role:
The PCI Team Manager is responsible for the mentoring and development of a Professional Services global team of PCI Analysts. As a Team Manager, you will act as a player/coach by playing a key role in assisting our customers seeking to meet requirement 11.2.2 for PCI-DSS compliance ASV external scanning attestation of compliance while also assisting in overseeing a team that is responsible for all customer-engaging efforts related to Tenable’s status as a PCI Approved Scanning Vendor.
Your Opportunity:
- Work cross-departmentally with Technical Support Engineers to ensure proper handling of PCI questions
- Member of Change Control Committee to assess impact of changes to One-Tenable product on PCI workflow and Operations.
- Identify areas of workflow and process improvements within the PCI ASV duties and lead team in implementation of operational improvements
- Increase analyst efficiency and productivity through the streamlines of processes
- Build a community of highly talented analysts that provide predictable and repeatable high-quality outcomes to Tenable’s clients by:
- Coaching new PCI Analysts to ensure success of new joiners and assisting with on-going development of existing staff
- Lead by example, using and sharing best practices with team and being available for questions and guidance as needed
- Assisting with removing obstacles to Analysts, escalating as needed
- Responsible for providing coaching and feedback, annual talent assessments, compensation planning and succession planning as appropriate
- Operational Planning: Monitor New Customer requirements, Analyst throughput, and evaluate the requirement for additional headcount when required
- Work with the Services Portfolio Team for planning, creation, and maintenance of PCI Service Offerings
- May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time
What You'll Need:
- Possess a minimum of three years of information security experience as follows:
- A minimum of one (1) year management of or performing vulnerability scanning and/or penetration testing
- At least two (2) years in any two of the following areas of expertise (with a minimum of one year in each discipline): Network security, Application security, System security, IT security auditing, IT security risk assessment
- Possess ONE of the following:
- A current industry-recognized security certification: ISC2, GIAC etc …
- At least 1-3 years of experience managing a team
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems administration and security posturing
- In-depth knowledge of network devices, their deployment and typical configurations
- In-depth knowledge of networking
- Knowledge of various web servers and other externally facing software applications
- Customer service experience within the technical and cybersecurity background
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A high degree of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comfortably interact with senior management in a consultative manner

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $133,333.33 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
