Pay range: $60,000 - $70,000 Annually.
Oversees the daily operation of Outpatient Office Operations (Rehab, infusion, pain management & Radiology front desk Cornwall). Daily operations of HAMs include but are not limited to analysis of statistics, verification of registration data, and staffing. Coordinate’s information to facilitate a smooth flow of work for the department. This position requires frequent contact with patients, medical staff, third party payers and the community.
Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years recent experience in Healthcare Access Management, Credit/Collections, Scheduling and/or Billing office capacity, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting with at least three (3) years in a Management capacity. Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding as well as Medicare, N.Y.S. Medicaid and all third-party payer and industry regulations is essential. Knowledge of basic office computer programs (i.e. Word, Outlook, & Excel).
