Healthcomp is hiring a Trust Accounting Manger with at least 5 years experience managing an accounting team with a focus on health insurance to play a critical role within our growing organization. If you are great at building positive relationships, managing expectations, resolving issues, and finding solutions this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
This position will oversee our North Trust Accounting team.
- Issue resolution and management of group inboxes
- Review controls / document controls
- Document processes
- Providing back up as needed to other locations
- Reconciliations
- Positive pay
- Funding management
- Bank relationships and management
- Assist other departments in resolution of client / vendor issues
- Reports as needed
- Supervision of employees
- Training
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising and / or managing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous banking or insurance experience preferred
- Ability to take direction and work effectively with leadership
- Proficient in MS applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
