Job Summary and QualificationsThe Manager of Respiratory is responsible for managing daily departmental activities, technologist staff and ancillary personnel, including the administration of both departmental and hospital policies and procedures, quality assurance, employee relations, and fiscal responsibilities. You will work with the Director and other members of the healthcare team to develop strategies to improve patient outcomes. As manager, you may need to take on patient assignments, as needed.
· You will coordinate provision of Respiratory Care Services with other medical functions and serve as a technical resource for Department personnel.
· You will be responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
· You will be responsible for meeting JCAHO Standards, managing supplies and equipment on the unit, promoting teamwork with physicians and health care providers, and promoting overall customer satisfaction.
What qualifications you will need:- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
- Associate Degree

Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery.
