Manager of Regional Sales - Level 1
Position Summary:
The Manager of Regional Sales (RSM) supports a team of sales reps - Channel Account Executives (AEs) – in selling Pax8 Services and Solutions to their partners. In addition, they coach and develop each AE. The RSM is responsible for interviewing, hiring, forecasting, closing business, and guiding our go-to-market strategy in the region.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develops, mentors, and manages a team of AEs
Conducts brief morning meetings with their team to discuss goals, highlights, and trainings
Facilitates weekly team trainings, provided by Sales or Supporting Teams
Acquires and/or demonstrates a solid understanding of business technology products and services for a variety of categories (e.g., Security, Data Management, Collaboration, Hosted Communications, Mobility, Business Productivity, Infrastructure, etc.)
Utilizes the Pax8 sales methodology to manage their region’s 30/60/90 day & bi-Quarterly sales funnel
Meets with AEs to provide feedback, support, and training
Manages day-to-day performance of AEs and delivers performance reviews
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
At least two (2) years at Pax8 and one (1) year as a Pax8 Manager of Regional Sales
Successful experience as a Team Lead or comparable leadership experience in a previous role
Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team
Successful experience managing a tech sales team
Excellent coaching skills: ability to observe, evaluate, and give meaningful feedback
Ability to be a results-driven team player that is accountable for results
Ability to consistently achieve revenue targets
Excellent written and speaking skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills along with a strategic mindset
Required Education & Certifications:
B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect an OTE (on target earnings) of $147,000
