OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a work culture of continuous improvement and learning by engaging staff members for improving practices.
Administrator of the organization's applicant tracking system.
Conduct routine operational meetings with the team to address recruitment issues.
Act as a coach and mentor to team members by managing complex recruitment situations.
Manages special projects and utilize basic project management principles to plan and implement new programs or processes to increase pipeline development.
Source temporary staffing partners and negotiate contract terms for temporary placements.
Manages group discussions and presentations with customers, system management or other parties for purposes of action planning, problem solving or education.
Maintain current vacancy list through regular meetings/collaboration with managers, HR strategic partners, MyHR service center representatives, and workforce development specialists.
Development of an integrated tracking process for each applicant from intake to hire to include post application/hiring follow-up and evaluation.
Gather, analyze and report statistics related to recruitment such as vacancy rates, internal, exit interview data, and external turnover rates and provide data for monthly, quarterly or annual reporting.
Trending workforce data at a regional, state and national level to project short and long-term recruitment needs across the system while evaluating effectiveness of methods and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Chair, Co-Chair or participate on committees that relate to recruitment initiatives.
Represent MyMichigan Health as an ambassador in community outreach programs and activities.
Participate in local, regional, state and national recruitment/retention councils, committees, workshops, conference calls/meetings.
Develop and maintain system marketing recruitment materials ensuring accurate and professional information to ensure MyMichigan Health's brand is well recognized among job seekers and community.
Responsible for advertisement of positions including specialty website advertising, college advertising and advertising campaigns.
Assists in the development and adheres to Balanced Scorecard and pre-established metrics for HR success and generates initiatives and action plans to address scorecard variances.
Performs employee evaluations, coaching, training, and communication.
Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and other learning opportunities.
Manage the overall customer satisfaction through periodic review of customer survey results, as well as by managing recruitment escalations and service recovery situations.
Translate the organization's purpose, values, and business goals into team goals and keep employees informed.
Collaborate with leaders to ensure all staffing needs are met, including emergent staffing needs.
Foster communication and team work both within and across organizational boundaries; facilitate open communication and resolution of differences, share insights.

SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
Required Education:A minimum of 5 years of professional level experience in Human Resources or supervisory role.
Experience of leading and managing teams in a performance culture to achieve measurable outcomes preferred.
Extensive knowledge of computer software with demonstrated proficiency in or knowledge or using a variety of computer software applications especially Excel and Microsoft Office Suites.
Must demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced team environment handling multiple priorities/tasks.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
Demonstrate flexibility and available to interact with employees at all levels. Be able to manage multiple conflicting priorities and multiple business units in multiple locations. Should be self- directed and motivated.
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to multi-task and manage complex assignments/initiatives effectively
Ability to be compassionate in leading people, and be an effective coach/mentor.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, as well as, trauma, grief and death.
Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or appropriate substitute if required for your position.
Is able to move freely about facility with or without an assisted device and must be able to perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description.
Overall vision and hearing is necessary with or without assisted device(s).
