Required Skills

• Must be a WV Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of 5 years of practice experience in an acute care pharmacy setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in USP 797, 795, and 800 standards is essential.
• Proficiency in managing financial resources, coordinating teams, and critical thinking.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
• Must have a thorough understanding of drug procurement, inventory management, and dispensing procedures.

Job Description

The Manager of Pharmacy Operations will oversee the daily functions of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing compliance programs for USP797 and other relevant standards.
• Managing drug procurement, inventory, and fiscal accountability.
• Overseeing drug diversion prevention and monitoring activities.
• Creating and maintaining staffing schedules to align workload and staff efficiently.
• Participating in staff selection and training programs.

Other Qualifications

• A Pharmacy degree from an accredited college is required; advanced degrees or certifications such as PharmD, MS, MBA, MHA, or an ASHP Sterile Compounding Preparation Certificate are preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with pharmacy automation and controlled substance diversion investigations is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new computer applications quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $101,000.00 - $136,000.00 per year
