GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Manager ofEarly CollegeFramingham High School is the onsite in-person lead between the scholar, family, school, and faculty. The manager works on Early College Team with the program coordinator and is responsible for the in-school experience for the scholar during the designated scholar time and in designated scholar class spaces.
The manager is the point person for on-the-ground operations and the ambassador of the program to all of the Framingham High School staff, teachers, and leadership. The manager's primary duty is to coordinate the dual enrollment classes and spaces along with proper wrap around support for successful programming and outcomes. This includes communication with school personnel, students, faculty, community partners, TAs, wellness coaches, ELL bridge team members and community supporters. The manager is also responsible for retaining 150 9-11 graders in superior programming.
This role will organize and participate in internal meetings with the Early College Team, faculty, wrap around support resources, and parents. The manager will participate in other school-wide meetings to bring Early College into the day to day life of the High School. The manager will increase higher education campus integration and build leadership opportunities for youth in the Early College Pipeline. The Manager will organize EC school events and work community wide events, festivals, sports and summer celebrations.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work nights, weekends, school events and community events as needed. Must drive and be able to lift 40 lbs.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Three years or more in management or operations
  • Experience with community-facing programing, k12 partnerships, and/or Pathways for Career
  • Three years or more working in community programming, community development or community engagement and college access
  • Demonstrated experience building youth community among diverse constituents and teams
  • Mission driven by youth development, family engagement and equity
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, partnerships and community stakeholders
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately required.
  • Ability to work early and late hours and some weekend hours in the district and community events regularly a must
  • Some nights and weekend community events required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Lived Experience as First Generation or Non Traditional Learner
  • Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position in the Association of Professional Administrators (APA) bargaining unit with a title of Assistant Director. The salary is $68,000. This is a grant-funded position. Employment is contingent upon receiving and maintaining continued grant funding.
