Accounting Manager

What you will do:
As our Accounting Manager, you will direct and oversee the corporate accounting team and practices, maintain accounting records, and prepare the financial reports. You will oversee accounting personnel in the areas of general accounting, internal accounting and budgetary controls for our company that makes products that help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources- Water! This position may work out of any of our locations - Detroit Lakes, MN, Plymouth, MN, Ashland, OH, Largo, FL, Vacaville, CA, Madison, WI or Randolph, MA.
The job:
Every day, your primary role will be to train, coach, develop and evaluate accounting personnel. You will direct corporate accounting practices to comply with generally accepted accounting principles, tax requirements and financial reporting requirements. You will organize and delegate resources to ensure work is successfully completed on time per company standards. You will be expected to help create the sub-culture of the accounting team and be willing to support growth through acquisitions and internally.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience overseeing the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements and annual audits. You must be able to lead operational accounting processes in the areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll. You must provide positive leadership and encouragement to support the team. You must have a 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and 4-6 years of experience in a management role.
