The Manager of Food and Nutrition manages all dietary and related food services functions. Provides overall management of diet and menu planning (both therapeutic and non-therapeutic). Ensures the proper storage and preparation of Food supplies and equipment and the maintenance of Food service areas according to sanitation standards. Procures or oversees procurement of Food from vendors. Participates actively in staff roles as needed.

Wage range: $70,000 - $100,000 DOE

- Provides a variety of high quality meal options daily.
- Provides catering for organizational meetings and events.

Inventory Management
- Manages and orders inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
- Minimizes food waste.
- Guides and supports Chef Specialist with development of menu.
- Guides and supports dietician to ensure meals and recipes are prepared in alignment with patient dietary restrictions.
Community Connection
- Oversees meal preparation for Meals on Wheels program.
- Oversees nutrition education offerings.
- Oversees outpatient dietary consultation service.
Other
- Sets regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifies staff is maintaining sanitation levels.
- Performs monitoring as required by code or law.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years related experience.
- Certification from the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).
- Food handlers permit.
- Hepatitis A vaccination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Management experience
- Associates degree or higher
