JOB SUMMARY

We're seeking a highly motivated and Agile-savvy IT Delivery Manager to champion the development and delivery of Global Technology initiatives. You'll be responsible for leading pods utilizing a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, ensuring efficient execution and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong technical acumen, and is passionate about fostering collaboration across teams. You'll leverage your project management expertise to define priorities, manage risks, and deliver high-quality solutions that align with business needs.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience, preferably in an infrastructure setting.

  • 1+ years of formal Project Management experience ($200K+) in a highly complex, large-scale environment (mention familiarity with SAFe principles a plus).

  • Project Management Certification preferred (Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred).

  • Relevant Agile Certification preferred (Certified Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, SAFe, or SAFe Agilist preferred).

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • 2+ years' direct technical experience in areas like software development, cloud technologies, network, and information security.

  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and an understanding of SAFe principles.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and maintain adherence to deadlines.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience facilitating daily stand-up meetings and retrospectives within an Agile framework.

  • Adept at identifying and resolving impediments that hinder team progress.

  • Ability to partner with Product Owners to define user stories and manage product backlogs within Agile.

Core Responsibilities

Planning and Execution:

  • Develop initiative plans aligned with SAFe principles, including requirements, cost, schedule, and deliverables.

  • Define clear milestones and task dependencies within the SAFe framework.

  • Facilitate sprint planning and review sessions as part of the Agile workflow.

  • Identify and manage initiative risks using SAFe risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Coach and guide the team on Agile and SAFe practices to optimize performance.

  • Champion a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on initiative goals.

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and address team impediments proactively.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track initiative progress and proactively identify potential roadblocks.

  • Develop and maintain accurate initiative metrics to measure success within the SAFe framework.

  • Communicate initiative status and issues effectively to stakeholders.

  • Generate reports that provide insights into initiative performance and areas for improvement.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies relevant to assigned initiatives.

  • Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.

Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in Agile project management and SAFe methodologies.

Salary Range (based on compa-ratio to accommodate all pay zones)

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
