Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with the firm's objectives and values
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key messages and ensure consistent communication across all channels
- Develop an internal communications rhythm and calendar to drive appropriate communications at the right time and interval, and to the right populations.
Internal Communication:
- Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify and prioritize key audiences during communications campaigns
- Develop and execute communication strategies across multiple channels, including but not limited to email, intranet, videos, office displays, and more. Identify new channels and tactics to keep employees engaged and informed across all levels, geographies, and teams.
- Work with department leaders on communications strategies for their specific departments and assist with the development of their communication approaches; ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with overall firm strategies
Executive Suite Communications:
- Serve as a key liaison for executive leadership, ensuring their communication aligns with the firm's overall messaging, goals and objectives
- Assist with writing communications from the C-level. Assistance could take the form of drafting, editing, brainstorming, or synthesizing based on other materials
- Achieve a common voice for certain executive communications
Content Development:
- Write internal communications including emails, blog posts, bulletins and newsletters, presentations, etc.
- Ensure all communication materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone and voice
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- Proven experience in internal communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Experience with change management communications including stakeholder analysis, preferably in a large, dynamic organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to write effectively in multiple styles and in different voices
- A creative disposition; someone who enjoys solving communication challenges in novel ways and applying ideas from different disciplines and settings to the task at hand
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, and other relevant communication tools

For positions in New York City, the salary range is $130,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
