Manager Of Financial Systems

As the go-to person for NetSuite and other finance systems support, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations within our accounting/finance team. Here's what you'll be doing:

System Support:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite and finance systems support.
• Provide ongoing internal support to the accounting/finance team and collaborate with the IT team.

Financial Close Reporting:

• Manage initiatives to minimize disruptions and unintended impacts of system configuration changes during the financial close reporting cycle.

Process Improvements:

• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across our global accounting/finance organization.

Configuration and Controls:

• Ensure business and functional requirements are properly configured in NetSuite.
• Maintain system access and internal controls, including SOX compliance.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT/MIS to deliver scalable business solutions based on evolving business needs.
• Manage finance information systems projects and prioritize related tasks.

Continuous Improvement:

• Manage NetSuite releases for ongoing system upgrades, including user acceptance testing.
• Support end-user requests for new system searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards.

Issue Resolution and Documentation:

• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced user issues, ensuring timely documentation through our ticketing process.
• Thoroughly document work/procedures for reference, troubleshooting, and future iterations.

Integration and Connectivity:

• Manage application data connections and participate as a technical resource in 3rd party integrations.
• Work with systems like Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Zuora, Tipalti, Coupa, and Floqast.

Documentation and Risk Management:

• Document work and procedures for reference, troubleshooting, and future changes.
• Identify risks and constraints, communicating/escalating issues appropriately.

Audits and Compliance:

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT/MIS, computer science).
• 5+ years of ERP and other finance systems administration experience.
• Experience in a public company under SOX compliance requirements.
• Experience with multiple currencies, system implementation, and integration.
• Working knowledge of Financial accounting concepts.
• Strong understanding of business processes, emphasizing Financial Systems management and process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels, including management and external parties.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and reprioritize when necessary.
• Detail-oriented, curious, self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3+ years supporting an organization with 500+ employees.
• Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive, and Floqast (a plus).
• Experience implementing automation.
• Detailed understanding of common industry standard business practices related to finance systems.
• Project management experience.
