Description
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Network team. • Work directly with the IT Integrations team to onboard newly acquired sites and ensure their infrastructure meets company standards. • Identifies root cause issues with referral processes and works with others to improve overall processes. • Looks for process improvement opportunities and makes recommendations to leadership • Ensure a high degree of uptime for critical infrastructure during normal business hours. • Configure, update, and maintain the LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure. • Manage monitoring tools and applications used for problem detection and resolution. • Maintain accurate system configuration documentation for network infrastructure. • Assess risk associated with new systems and applications as related to network performance. • Assist site contacts and provide guidance related to building-related renovations, moves, and infrastructure redesigns. • Work with vendors and service providers to resolve outages and other technical problems. • Participate in IT meetings, project planning meetings, and support-related meetings. • Participate in technology steering committee meetings. • Assist with long term planning for the overall IT department. • Perform hands-on fixes, including software/ hardware install and upgrade, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications • Perform advanced troubleshooting and remediation • Assist sites remotely over the phone, email, or the IT HelpDesk ticketing system. • Maintain confidentiality of all investigations, projects, patient confidentiality, and function within the guidelines of HIPAA. • Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements: • A bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field • Five (5) years of work-related experience IT Service Desk or Network related experience • Cisco Certified Network Associate, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods • Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers due to extensive computer use • Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen • May be required to work at various locations • May be required to move or relocate computer equipment and ability to lift to 50 pounds • Must possess mental alertness to make quick decisions and interpret complex information • Excellent ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with customers with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy • Mental alertness to perform the essential functions of position. • Ability to work after non-business hours as needed.
