DUTIES: Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
Responsible for short-term (day-to-day, weekly, or monthly) deliverables.
Assure material availability at site as required.
Manage inventory levels by defining clear max inventory levels.
Act as first level of escalation and management of supply component interruptions.
Issue releases and call offs (excluding negotiating price, payment terms and changing/selecting suppliers).
Responsible for planning material ramp-up and ramp-down.
Manage the implementation date of engineering changes based on stocking.
Maintain master data – MOQ’s (joint), safety stock, min/max.
Raw Material Inventory Health (E&O, MOQs, SS).
10% (domestic US only) travel required.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field of study and 5 years of experience in Materials Planning or supply chain planning or related experience.
Required knowledge or experience with:
- SAP Planning experience;
- Experience with Resin commodity and vendor management, inclusive of bulk rail and truckload delivery schedules;
- Experience within high volume/high mix production environments;
- Experience with supporting raw material LIFR or OTIF;
- Experience with maintaining raw material OTD;
- Experience with complex intercompany capital equipment transfer programs, inclusive of scaling for material availability during plant transitions to ensure customer OTD fulfillment, while upholding system setup and master data maintenance accuracy;
- Experience with management of inventory optimization goals;
- Demonstrated ability to uphold raw material delivery and consumption forecast accuracy;
- SOP creation and development of Standard Work;
- Plastics production manufacturing;
- ERP/MRP Planning systems, including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP and best-of-breed software solutions, with specific emphasis on SAP ECC, EWM and APO;
- Microsoft Office software (Excel, Power BI, Word, Access, and Outlook);
- Planning and purchasing systems;
- Inventory flow throughout the supply chain; and
- Inventory management and distribution planning.
Salary: $126,069.00 to $149,900.00 per year
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $126,069.00–$149,900.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
