About the role...
The Manager, Marketing Initiatives (MMI) focuses on moving Marketing Initiatives from concept to completion, providing a key link between strategic thinking and senior team members directly responsible for developing marketing tactics. The Manager (MMI) is responsible for managing the complete workflow of charters and multi layered campaigns from concept to delivery including print collateral, digital and advertising. Will manage a team of 2, ensuring projects are completed successfully by establishing the necessary requirements, creating and overseeing the implementation plans and working with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time.
Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $72,500 - $85,000.
You will...
- Manage the Road Scholar Campus store; monitoring inventory, placing orders, reconciling budget and managing the overall process
- Strategize with Programs, Creative and external vendors around on site program branding needs and budgeting based off these requests
- Create schedules and tracking mechanisms primarily based on existing templates and processes using systems including the scheduling software,Welcome, Excel and intranet, create new templates and processes where necessary
- Define project scope, goals, requirements, deliverables, detailed tasks and budgets
- Facilitate meetings, create and maintain project documentation ensuring specifications, deadlines and deliverables are accurately communicated to internal and external resources, route deliverables for approval
- Build project budgets and perform reconciliation after job completion ensuring project adheres to budget
- Manage vendors to insure adherence to estimated pricing, timelines and quality

You need...
- Bachelor’s degree, with 3-5 years direct marketing experience ideally in a print/mail environment; with some experience managing direct staff
- Understanding of budget creation and management
- Demonstrated ability to complete work independently with careful attention to detail and follow-up; extremely accurate; demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize tasks
- Ability to self-monitor to ensure completion of projects on time; can deal effectively with unexpected demands; flexible.
- Be a polished written, verbal, email and phone communicator; evidenced by your professional cover letter
- Be highly computer literate; experience with project management or scheduling software a plus; ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently required
- Be highly organized and be able to thrive in fast-paced, busy environment
