Position Summary
Under the direction of Senior Counsel/Associate General Counsel, the Manager, Legal Contracts will manage, facilitate, and monitor Signify Health's contract management process for the Accountable Care division. The Manager will draft, prepare, analyze, and edit Accountable Care Organization (ACO) client and other contracts, letters, filings, forms, and related documents including, nonstandard and complex agreements (i.e., not merely templates). The Manager will follow contracts through to execution and retention. In addition, the Manager, Legal Contracts will (i) manage the general department email inbox, (ii) respond to and track records requests and subpoenas, and (iii) support and project manage multiple ad hoc departmental and enterprise projects. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively within, and among, various departments and team members. This individual will also provide project management support, as needed, for ACO customer projects and the CMS application processes, including MSSP and ACO REACH. They will provide necessary Conga (formerly Apttus) project support for our Accountable Care attorneys and colleagues. The manager in this position will also provide support for other areas, as requested.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents

  • Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in drafting, analyzing, and managing a contracting process and contract negotiations
    • 3+ years of health care experience
    • 5+ years in a medium to large corporate/law firm environment

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in value-based/ACO contract drafting and negotiations
    • Willingness to learn new areas within the Accountable Care business;
    • PC Skills; MS Word, Excel, Google suite, Contract Management System set up and administrator (Salesforce and Apttus preferred)
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Conga (formerly Apttus) systems and process
    • Corporate Paralegal experience a plus

    Education
    Bachelor Degree

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $136,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
