Manager, Learning & Leadership Development – Learning Technology

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Design, implement and manage the learning technology platforms to support organizational priorities. Learning strategies and positive user experience for learners, trainers and leaders across the network.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. Master’s degree in Education, Technology or Leadership Development is preferred.

• Minimum 5- 6 years operations management experience and leading the design of learning technology is required

• Experience leading the day to day operations of a learning management system is required

• Advanced knowledge of learning technology and ability to keep abreast of technology, developments and trends in adult Learning and eLearning

• Working knowledge of learning and training concepts, such as: courses, offerings, curricula, certifications

• Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Adobe and HTML preferred

• Demonstrated ability to influence others in order to achieve objectives is required

• Ability to link business challenges and objectives with tactical execution and achieve desired results

• Strong skills in process mapping and management is required, Six Sigma green belt or above a plus

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Must possess strong customer service skills

• Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to multi-task and set priorities in alignment with department goals

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for development and implementation of policies, process and procedures for the organization’s learning technology platforms including, but not limited to, the learning management system (LMS)

• Manage the process for course configuration, course editing, course content uploads, course releases; supporting faculty and trainers with class creations and prerequisite identification; development of certification pathways in alignment with course build timelines

• Lead project management for platform integrations, migrations and enhancements that improve the user experience

• Manages projects, project teams, and backlog (releases, hotfixes, new system integrations, enhancements) to continuously improve the user experience within learning technology platforms

• Manage overall operating standards of the LMS and accompanying technology products

• Lead the oversight and escalation management of Level 2 and Level 3 support for the LMS

• Oversee the creation and ongoing management of instructional documentation and standard operating procedures for end-users and administrators of LMS and supporting technology platforms

• Create and analyze technology and customer experience reports from LMS and CX platforms to inform future business process, backlog prioritization and system enhancements; prepare and present data to inform key stakeholders and build buy-in

• Serve as liaison to evaluate and plan for additional learning technologies to augment existing systems and respond to evolving needs

• Other duties as assigned.

EFFECT ON END RESULTS/ STRATEGIC IMPACT

Quality training is available for all curriculum areas. The Manager, Learning and Leadership Development – Learning Technology, will ensure a high degree of quality, innovation, consistency, and on-time deliverables, for the development of user-centered learning technology solutions.

This position offers a mininum base salary of $73,200.00 up to $97,600.00. Final salary is determined by required qualifications, experience, and education for this role.
