What You Will Do
- Assist in developing and executing long-term IT infrastructure strategies while actively engaging as a "player-coach" within the team.
- Drive and architect cloud transformation initiatives, leveraging innovative solutions to enhance our technological landscape.
- Lead large-scale IT projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of system upgrades, migrations, and installations.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to design and implement strategic IT initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements.
- Ensure infrastructure security aligns with industry standards and compliance regulations.
- Assist in developing and managing the IT infrastructure budget, making strategic and cost-effective decisions.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Regularly evaluate emerging technology trends, spearheading and driving cloud transformation initiatives.
- Architect and implement scalable solutions to optimize our cloud infrastructure for improved efficiency and performance.
What You Will Bring
- Experience in multi-site manufacturing and multi-site consolidation.
- Management of hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic IT infrastructure plans while actively participating in technical contributions.
- Strong technical knowledge spanning servers, networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and security.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining SOX, PCI/DSS compliance standards.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/architecture role.
- Expertise in cloud computing, network architecture, and data center management.
- Exceptional project management, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.
- Lead core Infrastructure and Operations services, driving architectural changes and transformational cloud initiatives.
- Establish repeatable processes, ensuring operational health and compliance with IT Governance standards.
- Manage Infrastructure and Operations budgets, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
- Oversee security measures for infrastructure-related data, equipment, and facilities.
