General Summary:
The Manager, Integration Architect is pivotal in leading the design and implementation of scalable and robust integration solutions. With expertise in a range of technologies, programming languages, and software architectures, this role ensures seamless data and process flow across disparate systems within the organization. Focused on aligning technical functionalities with business objectives, the Integration Architect collaborates closely with IT teams and stakeholders while adhering to industry standards. A strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach are key for success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Integration: Provide integrated, consistent, and secure solutions across the enterprise, recommending business requirements, and developing technology solutions.
2. Technology Stack Management: Develop and maintain the technology stack, including both commercial and open-source integration platforms.
3. Technical Guidance: Offer expert advice on integration technology, data architecture, and system architecture, including best practices.
4. SDLC Oversight: Oversee critical SDLC components that impact enterprise-wide development and architecture standards.
5. Standard Adherence: Provide oversight in standards adherence through detailed technical specifications and code reviews.
6. Project Integration: Work with project teams to define requirements for integrating their projects into the Enterprise Architecture.
7. Batch and Backend Oversight: Oversee development and support of batch and back-end processes related to the application portfolio.
8. Incident Management: Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
9. Innovation: Collaborate with Integration team members to create innovative high-quality solutions.
10. Technical Meetings: Attend and provide engineering support for technical exchange meetings in support of enterprise integration.
11. Testing: Lead comprehensive end-to-end thread testing and identify areas for automation and scripting.
12. QA Support: Provide engineering assistance for writing, optimizing, and executing QA/Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) test plans.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong technical background and problem-solving skills
Collaborative approach and team-working skills
8 years of experience in Integration Architecture and Design
Hands-on experience with Tibco Business Works, File Adaptors, EMS and MQ
Experience with API management Platforms like Tibco Mashery
Skilled in data modeling and transformation, with expertise in XML, JSON, XSLT and SQL.
Familiarity with various connectivity protocols and network concepts
Hands-on experience in Unit, QA and UAT Testing
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
Certifications in relevant integration platforms like Tibco are highly desirable.
Physical Requirements and Working Condition:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.
