- Data Architecture Design:
- Develop and design robust Data Architectures that align with business goals and requirements.
- Create scalable and efficient database structures to support data storage, retrieval, and analytics.
- API Integration:
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs for data exchange between diverse systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into effective API solutions.
- Ensure API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms are implemented and maintained.
- Data Modeling:
- Define and implement data models to support the organization's data requirements.
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and flexibility.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and retrieval.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data-related processes for efficiency.
- Documentation:
- Create comprehensive documentation for Data Architectures, APIs, and integration processes.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data systems.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for data handling and API usage.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL, GraphQL and other modern API technologies.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Previous experience in industries with stringent data privacy and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect with a focus on API integration.
- Strong proficiency in writing API calls and designing RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and big data technologies.
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for API development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within the healthcare industry, understanding its unique data challenges, compliance requirements (such as HIPAA), and data interoperability standards.
- Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and integration patterns specific to healthcare systems.
