The Manager, Indirect Purchasing is responsible for executing the Indirect Purchasing strategy for LVMH Beauty Division. It ensures the optimal procurement of goods & services essential to the company's function while monitoring spend and obtaining financial savings. It will review purchasing procedures and monitor suppliers for the segments under its remit whilst remaining within LVMH Group guidelines.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet the internal customers & assess their needs
• Source and approve new suppliers
• Handle bidding (specifications, tenders, quotations analysis, recommendation)
• Negotiate and award business to suppliers
• Approve POs & New suppliers creation requests in the system
• Set-up formal contracts (rate cards, YER, services, ...)
• Launch and follow-up Social & Ethical audits
• Define suppliers mapping on key segments / Manage suppliers panel & SRM
• Communicate on purchasing performances on a regular basis (BPC Purchasing's 4 basic KPI's)
• Complete Purchasing Performance file template and monitor by-passes and waived biddings
• Deploy, apply and control application of contracts made at group level (travels, computers, etc)
• Ensure project management on some designated projects
• Make value engineering studies on various subjects in relationship with internal customers

• Events & Seminars (events agencies, catering, accommodations, decoration, transfers)
• Human Resources (temporary work, corporate training, recruitment)
• IT & Telecom
• General Expenses (office furniture and supplies, cleaning, corporate catering, mail, security)
• Travels & Expenses (air, hotels, travel agencies)
• Intellectual Services (consultants, lawyers, translators)

METHODOLOGIES

• Apply methodology, templates and tools of the BPC Purchasing organization
• Liaise with Purchasing Director on a regular basis for work and objectives follow-up and guidance
• Communicate with other team members for benchmarking, comparing approaches, advising, ...
• Optimize relationships with suppliers, internal customers and key support functions within the organization

• 5-7 years Purchasing experience
• Travel between East Brunswick and NYC required
