Manager, Game Presentation & Entertainment

The Manager of Game Presentation and Entertainment is responsible for assisting the Director, Game Presentation, Entertainment & Field Marketing in the direction and production of all New York Red Bulls home games and other Red Bulls Arena events. This position will also be responsible for managing the New York Red Bulls Supporter Groups.

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize and execute an array of elements necessary for the in-game entertainment for New York Red Bulls games and Red Bull Arena events, including: Videoboard Features, Fan Engagement elements, Music strategy, Live Entertainment
• Serve as a Lead Field Manager on match day taking cues from Game Director / Producer
• Assist Director with booking talent for match presentation (Color Guard, National Anthem, Guest DJ, etc.)
• Assist Director with management of department tracking documents 
• Assist in the formulation of creative and innovative ways to market the New York Red Bulls and sponsorship partners' products and services in-arena
• Liaison with Marketing Partnerships on all in-game deliverables 
• Assist with the management of PT Game Presentation seasonal assistants in regard to scheduling; assist with the hiring of PT seasonal staff
• Manage Game Night Staff payroll and submit hours accordingly to ensure staff gets paid
• Communicate and work with the members of the MarComm and Operations teams
• Organize all game night inventory 
• Work with Field Marketing Manager to ensure the game experience is reflected during BULLevard activations
• Ensure the New York Red Bulls experience is executed appropriately during all community and team events 
• Assist in the creation of game night messaging copy, PA reads and schedules for New York Red Bulls games and Red Bulls Arena events
• Prepare all event and department season recaps
• Coordinate all in-game message 
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in Game Presentation with specific experience directing games and managing a creative team preferred

Prior supervisory experience

Experience within professional sports is a plus

Proactive, highly organized, and resourceful with great attention to details

Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload efficiently and quickly

Must have a strong command of reasoned, measured decision-making based upon analyzing the pros and cons of each potential decision to be made

Must be able to anticipate and identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption; solutions-based mindset

Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines, and work effectively in a high pressure and fast-paced environment

Ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information

Must be creative, idea-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative team-based environment

Must be proficient with MS Office and have working knowledge of Shoflo
