Summary
The Manager of FX Client Integration team is responsible for managing a group of individual contributors and Team Leaders covering one product and one or more regions. The manager is accountable for the performance management and career development of the team. The manager educates and trains the team as well as internal and external clients on Regulatory requirements and legal documentation necessary to onboard an account. The Head of FX Client Integration will spearhead and transform the Onboarding team from a predominantly administrative function sitting with the business, to a best in class control function sitting in Business Operations
The Team is responsible for managing large and complex new business implementations for clients. They collaborate with Front Office Support, Operations, Sales, Relationship Management, and Traders. They are responsible for the migration of clients to service platforms and for overall delivery of product to client. Acts as the main interface between team and Front Office Support, Operations, Sales, Relationship Management, and Traders.
Major Duties
• Day to day responsibilities include supervision of:
• Teams responsible for or collaborate with: Front Office Support for Operations, Sales, RMs, Traders including gathering Client Integration and regulatory documentation for but not limited to: KYC/AML documentation, Dodd Frank required documentation, ISDA's, CSA's & DCA's and other various legal documents
• Focus on driving excellence in Client Onboarding and Documentation for middle office operations and Front Office support
• Support and participate in the development, design and implementation of the target operating model
• Responsible to team is delivering on best in class client experience
• Develop and monitor SLAs and KPIs for the onboarding of accounts to ensure best in class performance
• Work with and influences many Sr Executive and key stakeholders in multiple areas across the organization
• Process management and operational stability and support transformation
• Proficient understanding of industry rules and regulations i.e. SEC, FINRA
• Responsible for accuracy of static data that is used for Regulatory reporting
• Vendor oversite for systems and third-party data providers
• Escalation PoC for BAU
• Daily interaction, issue escalation and resolution with internal and external partners including:
• Global Custodians, Fund Accountants, Trading Counterparties, other service providers and vendors
• Work with internal stakeholder in risk and compliance, technology to implement necessary changes
• Drive strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals
• Monitoring of daily trades to ensure compliance
Knowledge/Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Strong relationship builder
• Requires specialized in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in account opening across and how own area integrates with others to achieve departmental objectives
• Strong multi-jurisdictional knowledge of Functional/Industry/Regulatory Knowledge required
• Analytical, procedurally competent and strong problem solving skills
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff
• Guides and influences others either internally or externally to adopt a different point of view
• Build strong relationships with the Co-Heads and broader capital market partners, along with key stakeholders around the business, working collaboratively to help build a Client Lifecycle Management function
• Developing and monitoring SLAs and KPIs for the Client integration team
• Represents Capital markets directly with regulators as needed
Experience Required
• A College or University degree and / or relevant proven work experience is required
• Related Industry experience and/or qualification may be required. Licensing may be required where applicable
• Strong leadership and organizational skills are required to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff
• Significant experience (5+ years) in business; professional certification(s) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior role(s) with Strong talent management experience
• Effective communicator with the ability to articulate and develop an argument in an environment of assertive clients, Traders and executive directors
