Job Summary and Qualifications

At Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, we are looking for a compassionate and reliable Nurse Manager in our Freestanding Emergency Department. As the clinical nurse manager, you will help manage, organize, and lead the delivery of nursing care for the Freestanding ER. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition to our team. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

· On our team, you will work with the director to promote and monitor department safety.

·You willassist with the interview process of new hires.

·On our team, you will guide and be a resource for new employees.

·On our team, you will oversee all aspects of staffing, acting in accordance with human resource policies and within budgetary limits, in targeted selection, in planned staff development opportunities, in making daily assignments, and in providing feedback.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, graduate degree in healthcare related field preferred.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months post-hire
• Minimum 3 years clinical ED experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
