About the role:
The Manager of Employee Benefits and Policy leads the strategy, administration and ongoing oversight of Pacvue's US Employee Benefits program. This role is a blend of solution orientation – identifying and introducing high value, high impact benefits that solves the needs of our employees' wellness, as well as day-to-day support of entire benefits platform. In partnership with the people leadership team, head of total rewards and senior business leaders, this role will create a meaningful and competitive benefits platform and provide top level support. This role reports into the Director of Total Rewards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and align benefits strategy and roadmap that meets the needs of the employee population and is cost effective to the company
- Manage vendor relationships and well as open enrollment planning and administration
- Ensure we have up to date and meaningful benefits and related policies in place including leaves (disability, parental, etc.)
- Oversee costing and budgets related to benefits and wellness programs
- Lead any compliance and regulatory filings
- Maintain policy and administration of leaves
- Manage open enrollment and all on-boarding and off-boarding of employees and process-related actions including triggering of COBRA
- Support adhoc projects related to wellness, recognition and HR programs
- Craft and run all employee communications awareness, education and training related to our benefits offerings
- Track usage of our benefits, creating metrics and trends demonstrating the value of the platform
- Run 401K plan, testing, and audits. Prepare and meet with vendor to understand usage and value of the plan. Recommend adjustments as needed.
- Manage Benefits administrator
Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years' experience leading US Benefits programs with an emphasis on continuous improvement in offering and process
- Proven ability to approach benefits from a market-driven position, ensuring competitiveness and relevance of our programs
- Highly analytical, with strong organization and communication skills
- Solutions orientated and collaborative in approach
- Strong business acumen and ability to partner/problem solve with key stakeholders
- Ability to navigate and push back against conflict in a manner that creates positive outcomes
- Technical knowledge of comp, excel, survey and benefits platforms
- Ability to run and analyze compliance requirements
