The E-commerce manager will be responsible for setting up, implementing, and managing the e-commerce strategy for one of our website properties. This role will be crucial in achieving our business goals and objectives. We are looking for a candidate who has significant experience and a big passion for digital technologies. The E-commerce Manager is results-driven, intending to work until the job is complete. This person will be responsible for the successful delivery of web projects. This position requires strong communication, influencing, and project management skills, along with a keen ability to understand technology principles and agile delivery. Also important is the ability to establish and maintain key relationships within business and technology groups, as well as interact with diverse stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technology e-commerce replat forming from delivery from planning to execution ensuring it meets user requirements.
  • As the E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our online retail presence and ensuring its continuous improvement.
  • Testing and Optimization: Take charge of A/B and Multivariate testing setup and execution to continuously improve the E-Commerce platform, enhance user experiences, and boost conversions.
  • Backend Operations: Provide oversight of backend file migration and warehouse operations to maintain efficient data and product flow within the E-Commerce ecosystem.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and UI/UX: Manage UAT processes, as well as the versioning and iteration of UI/UX elements, to create exceptional customer experience.
  • Act as main communication liaison with external vendors for technical integration and to address any issues that arise.
  • Gather, evaluate, and document business needs and requirements translate these into functional specifications, and assist in developing technical approaches.
  • Document, address, and troubleshoot issues reported by users proactively identify and manage issues and dependencies, and manage and work with technical teams to resolve user issues.
  • Work with leadership to intake and prioritize project initiatives, understanding scope, timelines, and constraints; manage and own a master project calendar
  • Coordinate and participate in architectural and engineering discovery sessions to create alignment and provide visibility to level of effort
  • Utilize enterprise project management tools such as JIRA, and other applications to provide project status and reporting, while adhering to PMO processes, documentation standards, and best practices
  • Provide clear and consistent communication of project status with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Build, plan, and implement an overall digital marketing strategy
  • Be the lead liaison working with outside agencies
  • Measure ROI and KPIs
  • Measure and manage online content
  • Track and Analyze data using Google Analytics 4
  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks, and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working with site re-platforming
  • 4 years of experience as an E-commerce Manager or as a leader in Digital E-Commerce Operations
  • 4 years of experience in developing and implementing e-commerce website strategies
  • Basic knowledge of web design procedures
  • Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills and time management
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (engineering or computer science)
  • 2 years of Magento or Shopify experience
  • Knowledge of technology concepts like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience in e-commerce project management in addition to full systems lifecycle
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to take technology discussions and break them down for non-technical groups
  • Project Planning & Task Management
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Good sense of web design especially with e-commerce websites
  • Experience managing technology-focused project delivery identifying scope, building an effective plan, and executing to completion
  • Working knowledge of PM and tech working platforms such as JIRA, and others
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate and influence team members from multiple internal departments and external vendors
  • Proven ability to work with global teams with diverse backgrounds, business objectives, and time zone constraints
  • Ability and desire to continually learn about new technologies, and project management methodologies, and adapt to ever-changing business and industry needs.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $ 105,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
