We are currently looking for an InfoSec Manager, Cyber Security to join our team at our Headquarters in Franklin, TN.


This role will be responsible for leading the SOC & Forensics Investigations teams organization across the Americas to identify, protect, detect , respond, and recover from cybersecurity threats. 

The role requires familiarity with recent threats and adversarial techniques, as well as the ability to quickly understand complex environments. Business and interpersonal skills are essential to communicate risk to the business, interface with other business units and develop the team.

They are responsible for managing the organization’s resources, developing and implementing a strategy, operational plan and ensuring that the entire enterprise is as secure as possible and moving toward a common direction and evolving as security profiles and threat change around us. 

The  Cyber Security Manager works in tandem with fellow InfoSec Managers, Sr Managers, & the CISO for the Americas to elevate the company’s security posture.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • ­­Business Value: Supports collaboration with legal, privacy and technology leaders in raising new cyber security initiatives, automation, and innovation that improves Nissan protections, enhance stakeholders experience, and provide cyber security efficiencies to the organization.
  • Strategy: Provide input for strategy, align with technology stakeholders and support development of cyber security roadmaps to detect, contain and respond to security incidents. Provide input to perform gap analysis and align required security project portfolio, initiatives, to manage internal and external threat vectors. Support regional and global security strategies as well.
  • Roadmap: Execute Oversee managers to establish the plan, timing and order of initiatives that support Identify, Detect, the business strategy/initiatives, plans and support cyber security operations and accounts for changes in regulations, information security.
  • M-Incident Response: Manage activities of incident response and analytical staff who are charged with the analysis of threat identification information from an array of sensors and the rapid resolution of any identified threats.
  • M-Incident Management: Manage incident response activities (triage, root cause analysis, escalations, notifications, communication, etc.) and support strategies to contain and eradicate the incident. Ensure operations are recovered seamlessly.
  • M-Incident Response Process: Provide input for to design,  build, and manage Security Incident Response Process (SIRT) in collaboration with legal, privacy, security and technology stakeholders. Ensure SIRT process is updated on a regular basis.
  • M-Security Technologies: Subject Matter Expert in cyber security Detect Contain and Respond technologies including SIEM, Logging, Forensics, Ransomware prevention, Malware detection, Endpoints and server security across on-prem data centers, cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS stack) and IoT services to meet evolving business needs.
  • M-Innovation: Support security innovations to protect Nissan from evolving new threat vectors, introduce efficiency in current technology stack and keep Nissan security program on cutting edge.
  • Vendor Management: Manage security technologies problem escalation with vendors and the resolution of cross-company issues.
  • Team Management: Supervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training, career counseling and staff development, interviews and selects employees; recommends merit increases, transfers and promotions; counsels and disciplines employees as necessary; recommends termination when appropriate.
  • Support diversity and inclusion.  Ensure all employees’ opinions are valued equally. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10 or ­more years of related experience at a professional level. Including five or more years in a managerial role, providing strategy, vision and direction. Activities of subordinates or contractors varied considerably in objective and content and encompassed more than one discipline.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in a related discipline. Security Certifications are desired and a plus. Cloud Practitioner and security certification is preferred.  

  • Frameworks: Working knowledge of the GLBA, NIST (NIST CSF) and CIS cloud security frameworks.

  • Professional security certifications preferred: Has one or more of security certifications including SANS Defender, SANS Cloud Security Automation, CISSP, CISM, and CRISC.

  • Collaboration: Demonstrated experience with collaborating in a highly matrixed environment which involves multiple internal and external stakeholders to gather data that enables prioritization and delivery of results.
