Manager Continuous Improvement - Remote

Reporting to the Director, Continuous Improvement for Deployment, you will manage the tactical execution of Manufacturing Excellence programs, products and trainings touching the Grocery and Snacks platform. You will be involved in the execution of Connected Shop Floor implementation and work across the Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Manufacturing Excellence to optimize how the plants receive the most efficient improvements including Conagra Performance Systems (CPS) tools, focused improvement problem solving teams and reliability improvements. You will partner with other SME’s within the ME functions to determine scope and deliverables, along with timing of complex priority work, as well as working with manufacturing teams to train ME tools and processes.

You Will:

• Collaborate across Manufacturing Excellence (ME) functions to identify priority work and tools needed to deploy and coordination of resourcing needs both inside and outside of the ME team.
• Work with manufacturing plants on Connected Shop Floor (CSF) implementation and partner with the CSF COE on enhancements.
• Work with COE peers to create a feedback loop of enhancements needed within CPS to further the Continuous Improvement maturity in the manufacturing plants.
• Ensure the CPS related work and training meet customer expectations and deliverables.
• Work with CSD (Continuous Skills Development) and training functions to communicate training needs and participate in both training development and on-site training.
• Partner closely with plant teams on priority of work, strategic planning, training needs and new development in ME tools and processes
• Responsible for helping the plant leadership team achieve business metrics through implementation of ME tools and standards.
• Lead the plant CI manager network connecting plant resources with the greater ME team.

You Have:

• BS in Engineering, Technology or Business Equivalent Degree
• 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) based Continuous Improvement of at least 7 years preferred.
• Experience coaching and teaching site leaders at every level how to effectively implement and utilize CI tools and processes.
• Experience leading multiple projects and resources resulting in scalable value for the organization.
• Proven success in managing by influence in a matrix organization.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• This position is located in Omaha NE, Chicago IL, and select field locations or remote locations Denver, CO and east and within reasonable proximity (50 miles) to a major airport.
