Hiring Range: $78,000 - $90,000
Work Schedule: Hybrid - up to two days per week of remote work. Evening and weekend work may be required

- Conducts research and evaluation efforts to inform feasibility, concept development, design, production, and operational phases of the exhibition, program, activity, service development, and strategic initiatives in partnership with project teams. Creates customized community collaboration strategies based on the needs of the project.
- Mentors Evaluation Researchers and Evaluation Supervisor in best practices for Research & evaluation strategies and provides direction, communicates job expectations, and provides on-going training and feedback to ensure professional development and success in alignment with Museum performance management measures.
- Maintains a strong understanding of Museum priorities and guides evaluation and community collaborations in ways that support the Museum's goals; including attracting and serving existing and potential audiences, and ensuring all experiences, products, and programs provided are what our community desires.
- Leads the research direction for pan-institutional and initiative teams and serves as or assigns an evaluation researcher to serve as integral members of each team.
- Ensures the morale of the team is maintained to keep the team functioning at a high level and ensures a positive and healthy team culture.
- Works with other departments collaboratively on Museum priorities and shared goals.
- Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in social science, museum studies, education, nonprofit management, or related field.
- 5 years experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and/or evaluation required.
- 3 years experience supervising staff required.
- 2 years experience participating in community building or community work required.
- Advanced statistical analysis using Excel required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, survey platforms, and web enabled applications required.
