You will be responsible for orchestrating and actively driving the Cloud Operations and infrastructure architecture strategies for SS&C Intralinks Platform Solutions. You'll spearhead the planning and execution of intricate computer systems, both on-premises and in the public cloud, ensuring seamless integration of technical components in alignment with strategic objectives and risk management.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of private and public Cloud Operations professionals. Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  24/7 Operations Management: Establish and maintain processes and procedures to ensure continuous monitoring and management of our cloud infrastructures. Implement robust incident management, escalation, and resolution protocols to address any issues or outages promptly.
  Infrastructure Optimization: Collaborate with the engineering and architecture teams to optimize our infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implement best practices for resource provisioning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
  Security and Compliance: Oversee the implementation of security best practices and compliance standards within our environment. Ensure that all systems and applications adhere to relevant security policies and regulatory requirements.
  Automation and Tooling: Drive the adoption of automation tools and processes to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Leverage AWS services such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, and AWS Systems Manager to automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.
  Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance and availability of our AWS infrastructure. Generate regular reports and dashboards to track performance trends and identify areas for improvement.
  Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for our cloud environments. Conduct regular tests and drills to validate the effectiveness of these plans.

What You Will Bring:

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience architecting and implementing diverse private or public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) hosted systems in globally redundant environments.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or equivalent field.
• Possess a deep understanding of Active Directory and domain management.
• Demonstrate expertise or certifications in two or more of the following solutions: Red Hat Linux, Debian/Ubuntu, AWS, F5 Big-IP, Nginx, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Exhibit current experience supporting SaaS Infrastructure systems engineering in mission-critical production datacenter environments globally.
• Showcase advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, including experience with current releases of RHEL/CentOS.
• Possess proven expertise working with Kubernetes, containerd, and Docker.
• Display a strong domain knowledge of web and database application performance engineering and capacity planning activities.
• Maintain solid working knowledge of Internet protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, etc.).
• Demonstrate understanding of Routing and Switching, Software-Defined Networking, VXLAN technology, and UDP encapsulation.

Jersey City, NJ: Salary range for the position: 150,000 USD to 175,000 USD. NY: Salary range for the position: 150,000 USD to 175,000 USD.
