FOCUS

Own the central operations strategy, process and execution for the New Hospital Openings team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • New Site Purchasing:
    • Manage purchasing, warehousing, and deliveries for the full new hospital lifecycle (i.e. Construction to Operational Site Setup) across equipment and inventory.
    • Manage day-to-day administrative functions pertaining to new builds within our purchasing software [Coupa] and across all vendors.
    • Partner with the Procurement & Inventory team to develop and implement effective purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures to support the opening of new veterinary emergency hospitals
    • Coordinate and execute system wide changes to support ordering functionality for DENOVOS.
    • Troubleshoot issues; create, maintain, and escalate; internal and external support tickets.
  • Provide Strategic Insights:
    • Collaborate with Procurement & Inventory to understand standard par levels and provide feedback as new hospital demand changes occur. Perform monthly reviews of warehouse inventory counts to ensure we are set up for success within our pipeline.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and scalability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Central Services Support:
    • Act as central services to the boots-on-the-ground Launch team:
      • Communicate active back ordered items and contingency plans
      • Offer critical problem solving support to on site teams
      • Work with the Procurement & Inventory team to source alternative products when needed.
    • Partner cross-departmentally to ensure the standard central processes for NHO are consistently up to date.
    • Ensure you're setting yourself and the hospital up for launch success by collaborating effectively with Project Managers and field leaders throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • New Hospital Account Creation and Facilitation:
    • Oversee the vendor account establishment process through the Central Launch Coordinator and ensure all timelines are on track for successful deployment.
    • Oversee the coordination of all 3rd party vendor relationships and deployments, continuously auditing and examining the scalability of the process and determining metrics for success

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management, supply chain & logistics, or a related role in new site/store openings
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Ability to think outside the box under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task in an ambiguous, fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Detailed understanding of veterinary or medical operations and workflow preferred
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Good change management skills and resiliency in a fast-changing environment.
  • A solution-oriented, open and collaborative mindset.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Advanced familiarity with business systems and productivity tools like Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Workplace, SmartSheet, Monday.com, and Trello
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
