Under general supervision, will work alongside Strategic Initiatives Project Manager and Training Ambassadors. This multi-phase program is designed to equip and prepare qualified candidates with the necessary skills and expertise to assume roles supporting the company's present and future needs. Job placement is not guaranteed; successful participants should identify and fill voids and will be required to apply for and seek out job opportunities within the company. As a member of the Operations Trainee Program, the trainee will learn the full range of RadNet's operations, which may include experience in Imaging Center operations including patient care and imaging technology, physician relations and referring physician support, call center operations, marketing, finance and reimbursement operations, information technology, human resources, compliance, safety, and quality assurance. The full scope of the operations trainee experience may include broad field and corporate job assignments, feedback systems, hands-on job experience, developmental relationships including meetings with various corporate department heads, and exposure to senior executives. This rigorous program requires a roll up your sleeves approach to all aspects of the business and may range between 12-15 months based on candidate performance and business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Rotate throughout the Southern California outpatient centers
- Become proficient in the understanding of imaging technologies (MRI, CT, U/S, X-ray, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, mammography)
- Become familiar with the practice types of referring physicians, specialties and subspecialities
- Become proficient in the understanding of the full patient experience beginning with referral to a RadNet facility
- Become proficient in RadNet's different systems, such as eRad, ADP, Dashboard, Imagine, etc.
- Learn how imaging center departments interact with corporate departments to include; operations, marketing, finance, IT, purchasing and Human Resources
- Observe technologists and radiologists as they engage in patient exams and exam reading procedures
- Observe and participate in imaging center budget development and long term business planning
- Participate in and observe different clinical, operations and management experiences
- Develop, test and implement new workflows, training, and/or policies, as directed by Southern CA Clinical Operations
- Attend all team phone calls and/or in person meetings as directed; Provide feedback and propose solutions to operational issues
- Attend and participate in various meetings, seminars, and training as required
- Adheres to the program Key Performance Indicators, as established by evaluations and testing
- Complete all tasks and projects as assigned
- Consistently performs above a passing score on regular evaluations, testing and KPIs
- Changes in daily commute and overnight travel as needed
- Comply with all company practice, policies and procedures

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree, or current RadNet employee with 2+ years of experience in radiology services.
- Outstanding leadership and decision-making skills; ability to work well independently and with a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, computer skills; especially Microsoft Excel and Word
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills; fluency (written and oral) in English required.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Reliability, adaptability, willingness to relocate and travel as needed.
- Ability to offer comprehensive solutions for existing inefficiencies within the business.

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, constant talking, and hearing. Visual acuity to read computer screens and written materials. Occasional travel to another site may be required, and mileage will be reimbursed.
Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.00/hour
