Male - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - (Friday to Sunday) 7AM- 7PM

SmithLife Homecare is looking for a hard-working, passionate, and upbeat Certified Nursing Assistant who is available to work with one of our clients every weekend Friday to Sunday 7 AM to 7 PM. This shift is starting at $19/hour. Ensure the client's well-being by promoting his attendance at the exercise class, maintaining a clean living environment, and encouraging proper hydration.

The caregiver will be able to pick up shifts throughout the week to get more hours.

The job requires you to work with many types of clients, so the caregiver needs to have experience with:

• Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting to the bathroom
• Medication reminders
• Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness activities, community involvement
• Cooking, meal, and snack preparation
• Shopping (grocery, household, other)
• Light housekeeping and laundry

Starting at $19.00 per hour with the possibility of overtime which is time and a half pay. Drivers license and a car is not required. We just ask to only apply if you are available to work on the weekends. You will also be able to pick up shifts throughout the week to get extra hours.

Qualifications:

• Valid/Current MD CNA Certification
• Valid/Current CPR Certifications
• Covid-Vaccine (both doses)
• At least 2 year of professional experience as a caregiver preferred
• Recent Tuberculosis screening
• Strong interpersonal skills
