We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Major Account Manager to drive sales and maintain strong relationships within the Intel Community. The Major Account Manager will be responsible for understanding the unique needs of our customers in the intelligence community and developing strategic account plans to meet their requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of the intelligence landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful account management and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy to drive revenue growth within the Intel Community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in customer organizations.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and cultivate sales pipelines within the intelligence community.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and product development to ensure alignment with customer needs and objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer requirements, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the executive leadership team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of products and services.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and tradeshows to network and promote the organization's solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of proven sales and account management experience, preferably in selling to the Intel Community.
  • Excellent knowledge of the intelligence community, including its operations, policies, and key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, budget cycles, and contracting methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and other sales productivity software.
  • Active security clearance within the intelligence community is highly desirable.
