Maintenance/Houseman

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY HOTEL HOUSEMAN OR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE.

Responsibilities:

-Collect garbage from all floors and basement and move to containers out side and set it up on street for pick up by garbage collectors.
- Clean and maintain hotel lobby, common areas, and other designated areas of the hotel, such as, outside of the property
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean bathrooms
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and linen
- Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable for guests
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests

- Answer front desk calls as needed

- Put away any orders that come in for the hotel

Experience:

- Previous experience in houseman and light maintenance work for a hotel
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance and basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting purposes is advantageous

Please note that this position requires physical stamina as it involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
