Certification: Clear and valid Texas driver's license
Experience: 3 years experience in general building maintenance and/or plumbing experience
Primary Purpose:
Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems throughout district. Assist with maintenance of grounds. Prefer skills to maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems in district facilities.
Special Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures
- Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques
- Knowledge of plumbing codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently
