Job Description and Duties
Under the direction OF THE Staff Services Manager I, the Maintenance Worker will perform maintenance functions throughout the Headquarters campus for items that fall outside OF THE building owner's responsibility, such as adjust state owned furniture/workstations to employee needs, hang pictures and dry erase boards, respond to inspect odors complaints and ensure appropriate notifications are made, change light bulbs on state owned cabinets, escort building repair crews while performing work on campus. Conduct inspections OF THE Headquarters campus, facilities, and/or grounds for damage and items requiring maintenance. Perform minor repairs within the scope OF THE classification and/or notify Facilities Section if repairs fall outside OF THE scope OF THE classification. Perform minor grounds maintenance and facility repairs. Responsible for maintaining an appropriate inventory and as needed personally order supplies of all items and materials necessary to perform the duties of this position, including requisitioning, inventorying, and securing supplies. Perform minor landscape duties. Provide assistance to Cabinet Shop to maintain a clean and organized workspace, keep tools and machinery in good working condition and immediately inform the Mill and Cabinet Supervisor of any equipment irregularities or malfunctions. Provide assistance to Cabinet Shop if needed to deliver and install new cabinets and furniture. Assist commands with moving cabinets, furniture, and equipment as needed.

- Regular Workweek (M - F; 8 Hour Shifts). Travel may be required.
