Maintenance Person (Full-Time)
The Awty International School is looking for a skilled Buildings & Grounds Cleaning and Maintenance Worker for its Maintenance Department.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have repair skills
- Be able to have a flexible work schedule
- Must have good communication skills
- + if they have any AC/ HVAC experience.
Job Description:
- Heavy lifting
- Event setup and teardown
- Work order repairs
- Carpool assistance
- General cleaning

Physical Demands:
Walk, look downward, turn neck, sit, bend, (frequently); stand, stoop, reach, push, pull (frequently); climb (frequently); grasp/manipulate tools, materials & supplies (continuously); lift items to 100 pounds (frequently), carry under 100 pounds (occasionally), lift/carry to 75 pounds (occasionally) use seeing, hearing and speaking (continuous).
Working Conditions:
Indoor classrooms, exposure to: student noise and music, odors of food and science projects, possible communicable diseases or unruly students. Outdoor schoolyard and grounds, exposure to temperatures, dust, pesticides and smoke (seasonally). - Work in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts
