About the Role:
In this Collierville, Tennessee based role, the Sr. Maintenance Technician will support the manufacturing and shipping operations of the Diversified Products division of IPS Corporation by successfully executing maintenance on equipment and facilities, reducing production and operations downtime, and be actively involved in the continuous improvement process and strategy.
Qualifications
- Ability to work safely, knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, especially those that apply to maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints and drawings.
- Ability to use measuring devices. I.e., calipers, electrical meter, pressure reading devices, temperature, gages, etc.
- Ability to execute work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Electrical and mechanical trouble shooting skills.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical circuits.
- Basic PCL, ladder logic, and motor drive trouble shooting skills.
- Basic facilities knowledge to include HVAC compressors, water chillers, plumbing, etc.
- Ability to analyze maintenance data including emergency vs. scheduled maintenance work, PM compliance, maintenance downtime, etc.
- Other duties as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements

- Basic math skills plus ability to compute rate, ration, and percentages.
- Interpret charts and graphs.
