Our Maintenance team is expanding and looking to add a Maintenance Technician. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Other duties include:
- Installs, repairs and maintains
- Equipment
- Building
- Utilities
- Infrastructure used to produce products for customers
- Uses blueprints, sketches, diagrams, manuals
- Uses hand tools, power tools and test equipment
- Licensed Industrial Fork Truck Driver
- Certified in Advanced Lockout/Tagout
To be a qualified candidate you must have the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and light electrical.
- Must have a minimum of four years of Industrial maintenance experience.
- Must be able to read & write, have basic math skills, ability to understand and follow written procedures.
- Must have mechanical abilities
- Must be able to pass the written Industrial Fork Truck Driver Test
- Must pass Industrial Fork Truck Driver Road Test
- Must pass Advanced Lock-out / Tag-out Training
