Maintenance Technician - Inpatient Center What You Must Have: High School graduate; college preferred Drivers License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance Familiar with standards for state, federal and private facilities as well as standards applicable to the healthcare facilities Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management & business administration Working knowledge of financial and HR management principles and practices Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Working knowledge of procurement and contracts Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operations Solid computer and systems knowledge Full Time Employee Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental & Vision insurance Paid Time Off Paid holidays 401k with up to 4% employer matching Tuition reimbursement Company car for qualifying individuals Mileage reimbursement What You Will Do *This is a working maintenance manager position and does not have direct reports* Maintain our facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements Conduct and document regular facilities inspections Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes Maintain certifications Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency Coordinate intra-office moves Provide maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations Plan and manage facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers Manage contractor and vendor relationships Review service contracts with your manager to ensure facility management needs are being met Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met Check completed work by contractors and vendors Verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff Review facility budget with manager Monitor expenses and payments Advise on and monitor energy efficiency Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedure Working with Heart to Heart Hospice We are looking for a compassionate, talented and experienced Maintenance Technician that is experienced in customer service and eager to join an exciting organization.
