Malone is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the North East area of San Antonio! Dedicated Shift, Contract to Hire, Resume Required.
Maintenance Technician Summary:
Maintenance Tech job duties would include the preventative maintenance, repairing and maintaining equipment/machinery, and evaluating maintenance needs to make recommendations concerning a course of action. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality Assurance teams on a daily basis.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for both mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance issues around the factory.
- Responsible for repair and maintaining functionality of Robot arms, mechanical unit, and controls.
- Recovery of robot units from common faults such as collisions, e-stop, or power outage.
- Hands on experience with maintenance and repairs of servo drives
- Ability to write and explain PLC ladder logic
- Read and understand electrical schematics
- Understand maintenance and repair of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
- Install, diagnose, and repair safety devices including light curtains, scanners, and safety chain relays.
- Promoting a continuous improvement in culture and moral within the department.
- Continuous communication with staff on status of machine breakdowns.
- Use of LOTO and safe practices
- Maintaining records and managing a stock of spare and critical parts.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Manufacturing Maintenance related background (5yrs minimum)
- Experience in Robotics, Controls, Hydraulics, and Welding
- Proficient on Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) in the workplace.
- Calculate figures and amounts
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Information:
- Pay Rate $30.00 to $40.00 DOE
- Benefits Package offered upon permanent hire.
