Scope of Position
Duties include the repair and maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities.
Basic Function: Preventative maintenance, Mechanical repair, Electrical repair, Troubleshooting, New installations. Ability to use a variety of maintenance hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Will need to be capable of logging data into Maintenance system. Complete documentation for spare parts and tracking preventative maintenance. Capable of interacting with team members and other departments. Will be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance
- Includes inspection, greasing and testing of plant equipment for proper operation.
Mechanical Repair
- Includes rebuilding of plant equipment such as bearing and mechanical seal installation on process pumps.
Electrical Repair
Troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnosis machinery and equipment problems including suggestions for proper repair.
New Installations
- Includes the ability to safely install new equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations
Requirements:
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/GED
- Basic Computer Skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in control circuit troubleshooting with a working knowledge of three phase electrical circuits.
- Mechanical experience, 1 years minimum.
- Pumps, Air, Hydraulics a plus.
