Summary: The Plant Maintenance Technician oversees and performs the preventive and reactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities of the Maintenance Technician include management and execution of PM schedules. repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates and maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
- Immediately communicate unsafe conditions. acts or injuries.
- Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
- Able to stick weld in all positions.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical components and circuits of various voltages 480vac 3 phase, 110 and 220.
- Ability to analyze control circuits including low voltage and analog signals
- Familiar with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic and blueprints.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.
- Ability to work with and implement automated processes.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working condition.
- Direct and perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties.
- Maintain and build job skills through company training programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properly including Pneumatic, Hydraulic. Steam, and Electrical systems.
- Develop Operating Procedures to ensure proper operation prolonging equipment life.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
