This position typically works approximately 50+ hours per week with occasional additional overtime as required to meet customer demands.
**This position typically works approximately 50+ hours per week with a base schedule of 5:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday (Friday hours vary pending production needs but normally work 8-10hrs). Note this location regularly works 12 hour shifts so must be available to work 3:30 am until 3:30 pm.
- Maintenance Class B pay progression: $30.00 start, $31.00 at 90 days, $32.00 at 1 year.
- Maintenance Class A pay progression: $33.00 start, $34.00 at 90 days, $35.00 at 1 year.
This position’s duties include preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment with a goal of reducing downtime and recurring problems. Equipment includes PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical presses, and various welding systems.
Troubleshoots and repairs PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic and mechanical stamping presses, and various resistance welding systems with a goal of minimizing downtime and recurring problems. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maintain maximum production and quality. Positions have a strong emphasis on electrical, however, mechanical experience is required.
Successful applicants must pass math test that includes adding and subtracting tape measure fractions, tape measure reading test, mechanical aptitude evaluation, drug screen, and 7-year background check for misdemeanors and felonies.
