The Maintenance Tech - Night Shift will play an integral role in Fischer's continued growth and success. This position will support Night Shift operations by being responsible for advanced repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. This role is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the entire manufacturing operation including shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions. After 2-3 months of initial training, this position will support Night Shift operations by working Monday thru Thursday night from 8:10pm to 6:30am and mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Trouble shooting and repairing production equipment as needed to support operations.
- Operate the maintenance computer system for time entry and work order generation.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic issues.
Ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years experience in industrial maintenance role at manufacturing facility
- Experience with paper converting, flexographic printing or similar industry
- Certifications or AS degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
