JOB SUMMARY
This is a role in Operations responsible for managing maintenance tasks and other assigned duties within the facility. Involves assisting with equipment repairs and facility maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Each employee ensures food safety and quality standards are met.
- Independently perform maintenance tasks on various equipment following manufacturer guidelines
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, belts, and other machinery parts
- Respond to maintenance requests and identify solutions
- Conduct equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Install, repair, and adjust small operating equipment
- Direct Tech I and Tech II Crew Members on equipment maintenance
- Willingness to work night shifts and occasional weekends
- Fulfill other assigned duties

- Follow instructions effectively
- Prioritize safety in all tasks
- Participate in safety programs to achieve company goals
- Demonstrate equipment operation for employee safety
- Report unsafe conditions or acts
- Report accidents, injuries, or illnesses promptly
- Effective troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams
- Proficient in equipment maintenance
- Maintain tools and work areas in good condition
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of electrical systems
Experience
- 8+ years of facility maintenance experience
- Experience with Food Processing Equipment and Vacuum Packaging is a plus
Skills
- Proficiency in facility software programs
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Conflict resolution skills
Physical Requirements
- Regularly perform manual labor tasks
- Lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to varying temperatures and conditions
